xDuoo has introduced a very unusual device, the xDuoo DT-01 . This is a docking station for your smartphone, but not for charging its battery (although, it can do that too) – the main function of the new product is to receive digital audio from your smartphone via USB and broadcast it to a stereo system in a format it understands – from digital USB or SPDIF (optical and coaxial) to an analog linear output. There is also a high-quality headphone amplifier, which will be useful for owners of high-quality wired headphones and smartphones without a minijack, which are becoming more and more common.

The manufacturer equipped the xDuoo DT-01 with many high-quality components, including the audiophile ESS Saber ES9038Q2M DAC chip from ESS Technology. The new product supports charging your smartphone while listening to music. The device also has a built-in multi-color indicator that lights up in different colors depending on the parameters of the track being played.

The xDuoo DT-01 docking station is based on a high-quality 32-bit ESS Saber ES9038Q2M DAC chip from ESS Technology and a multi-core XMOS USB processor. The gadget is capable of working with PCM digital streams with parameters up to 32 bit / 384 kHz and DSD up to DSD256. The built-in headphone amplifier provides up to 350mW of power, allowing you to easily control most headphones.
