Majority Tru Bio: Biodegradable true wireless headphones

The English company Majority invited everyone to “limit their carbon footprint” with Tru Bio fully wireless headphones. The novelty, like all Majority products labeled “Bio”, is 100% made of biodegradable plastic, including even speaker membranes molded from biocellulose. With a mass of 4.5 g each, the future owner can imagine how serious the benefit it will bring to the environment.

On the other hand, concerns about Tru Bio biodegrading too quickly are groundless: the company gives them a three-year extended warranty. Lifetime technical support is also promised, the term of which is nevertheless inevitably limited by the rate of this very biodegradation.

The rest of the Tru Bio are typical inexpensive fully wireless headphones equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 (codec details were not disclosed) and easy-to-use buttons. A full charge of the kit will take an hour and will provide 7.5 hours of autonomy for the headphones themselves, plus a reserve of energy for three charges in the battery case. In addition to the mentioned parts, the kit includes a USB-C charging cable and three pairs of earbuds. Biodegradable, of course.

In the UK, Majority Tru Bio TWS headphones are sold on the manufacturer’s website for £35.
