Aune has released a desktop network streamer S10N , which combines several original solutions .
First of all, it uses an architecture with five separate cores, each of which is responsible for a different aspect of the device – streaming, wireless communication, signal decoding, external master clock and built-in clock generators.
Two linear transformers are used in the power supply, only high-quality elements are used in the audio path, such as Panasonic capacitors, film capacitors, WIMA decoupling capacitors and others. The latest processor from MediaTek is responsible for streaming , the control is carried out by a special proprietary application with support for all major streaming services.
The device has an input for an external 10 MHz master clock , a digital signal output in IIS format is implemented on the HDMI port. You can connect two external USB drives up to 2 TB to the streamer. Built-in Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth adapter supports LDAC and aptX HD codecs , with a physical and network connection, the streamer can work with PCM streams 32 bit / 768 kHz and native DSD512 stream.
The Aune S10N desktop streamer comes in black and white and is available to order online for $699 .
