Panasonic is preparing to introduce a new full-frame camera with advanced video capabilities. The source revealed details about the Panasonic S1H Mark II camera. Its announcement may take place before the end of March 2023. However, while Panasonic has not announced the date of the presentation of new devices.

- Video recording support: 8K, UHD DCI 24/25, 30, 48, 50/60 fps
- Support for ProRes RAW 6K and 8K output (probably to an external recorder)

- Support for shooting in V-Log (for subsequent color correction)
At the same time, one of the sources reported that the dynamic range of the matrix would be 14+ stops. This is a fairly high figure, inferior only to expensive professional film cameras.
Panasonic Lumix S1H Mark II camera will receive support for 8K ProRes RAW
The camera, as well as the device of the first generation, can get a swivel display and a high-quality viewfinder. The display resolution has not yet been disclosed.
An interesting detail: the first generation camera – Panasonic S1H streaming service Netflix approved for the creation of its content. It follows from this that the second generation of the device can also be approved by the American company.
