Micro-LED technology is poised to revolutionize the smart TV market, offering superior brightness and color precision compared to OLED, all while being more energy-efficient and durable. Although Micro-LED TVs have started to emerge in recent years, their price tags often exceed $100,000, making widespread adoption unlikely at this stage. Hisense aims to change this dynamic with the introduction of the Micro-LED 136MX TV, targeting a broader audience.

This innovative panel features 24.88 million tiny LEDs, each capable of individual adjustment, similar to OLED technology. This design enables the Hisense 136MX to reach impressive brightness levels of up to 10,000 cd/m² and delivers exceptional resolution, complemented by perfect black levels for outstanding contrast. Additionally, Micro-LEDs are less prone to burn-in issues, resulting in a significantly extended lifespan. The Hisense 136MX also boasts a refresh rate of 120 Hz, enhancing the viewing experience.

Hisense has also unveiled the 116-inch TriChroma LED TV, positioned as a budget-friendly option. This model features a Mini-LED backlight and incorporates an innovative “RGB local dimming technology” that adjusts colors dynamically, resulting in a brighter and more vibrant display. Hisense claims that this TV achieves 97% coverage of the BT.2020 color space. Additionally, it supports brightness levels of up to 10,000 cd/m² and is compatible with Dolby Vision IQ and IMAX Enhanced technologies. The audio setup includes a 6.2.2 sound system. However, details regarding the pricing and release date of these new Hisense products are still pending.
