My Retro TVs: interactive online TV emulators from different eras

American developer Joey Cato, in addition to his main job at Netflix (Cato specializes in interfaces), is creating unusual interactive sites. The most popular are My70sTV.com, My80sTV.com, My90sTV.com and My2000sTV.com – emulators of TVs and televisions from different eras.

Moreover, Kato not only collected old videos, but divided them into TV channels and genres. Each era is represented by thousands of clips and fragments that can be scrolled almost endlessly. All sites are collected on the general portal MyRetroTVs .

Recently, the developer has added to his “collection” by creating a website with a TV emulator of the 60s. My60sTV.com has a collection of films, shows, news, sports and cartoons that aired from 1961 to 1969. Of course, we are talking about American television. In total, there are about 22,000 videos on My60sTV.com. It is based on open content from YouTube.

In the future, Kato promised to make a website dedicated to 50s television. This will be the finale of the My Retro TVs project.
