Hisense U8KQ (55U8KQ): Not a bad choice

Hisense continues to surprise with its high-end televisions that they have released for this year due to the variety of features that we can find in its main sections, obviously they are functions worthy of their category that will improve performance at a general level.

This is precisely what we want to talk about in this review, since the Hisense 55U8KQ seeks to give users the best possible experience, obviously it is not fully achieved due to certain aspects that we also believe are worth mentioning, but in general terms we have a complete television that It adds a good performance and for its price it is even more worth it.

Exterior design

Let’s start by talking about the design of this television because it stands out for its appearance, obviously you couldn’t expect less from a high-end model, but this one stands out a little more for certain details that give it superior appeal. We are looking at the 55-inch model which, due to its dimensions, will be the ideal option to have in medium-sized rooms due to its integration.

We always have the option of acquiring the VESA support that can provide a better placement according to the taste of each person. This tool allows you to adapt the television directly to the wall so that the front part has a better view, which will be positive in this case due to the thin bezels that it integrates , generating elegance regardless of the angle.

The back offers practically the same by not having a space as bulky as others, we practically see a fine television that combines with everything. Being of a higher range, its construction uses better quality materials . Being resistant and an option that will surely last for many years, there is no doubt that the appearance of this model is something that stands out a lot.

Connectivity

The  Hisense 55U8KQ works with VIDAA U7.0 , which is the most recent version of the system created for this firm’s televisions. However, for certain reasons we consider it as one of its weak points. It does not mean that it is bad, but because the other systems have better optimization and security. It is true that with each update they seek to improve, but there is still work to be done.

Its application store includes the most popular options today, in addition, we can use other interesting applications, obviously its variety is not great, but for entertainment issues it is fine. The good thing is that it has compatibility with Google Assistant and Alexa that allow you to create voice commands in order to easily control and access certain functions.
