Its thickness at the bottom is almost 8 centimeters. However, in some other models in this price category, this size is also 10 cm. Usually, if the TV is on a stand, then the depth of the case cannot “spoil” the appearance of the TV.
If you want to hang this TV on the wall, you will need a VESA 200 x 200 bracket (for a 55-inch diagonal). This wall mount will have to be purchased separately. TV Xiaomi TV EA55 comes with a stand, four screws for attaching this stand, a warranty card and a remote control with two AAA batteries.

If we talk about the presence of bass, then the built-in stereo speakers quickly reach their limit. On the other hand, mids and highs sound very good. This sound quality is enough for occasional TV viewing, but there is no home theater atmosphere.
In addition to the Stereo mode, the device supports DTS-HD. It should also be noted that the sound in the EA55 surpasses some TVs in terms of power and clarity of sound, which also do not have separate speakers for reproducing low frequencies. If you want to improve the sound quality, then it is best to purchase an external soundbar or home theater system.
Image quality
TV Mi TV EA55 is equipped with a panel with a 10-bit ( 8-bit + FRC ) IPS matrix and direct LED backlight Direct . TVs with these settings usually provide true-to-life colors and wide viewing angles. However, their own contrast is weak. As a result, the black color may look like a hazy gray.

Movies in HD resolution (720P and 1080P) scale very well and are displayed with the utmost clarity. In general, the picture is not bad, if you do not compare it with advanced TVs, which cost several times more.
Connections
Apparently Xiaomi decided to save a little on physical connectors. With only two HDMI ports, two USB ports, and an S/PDIF output instead of an optical audio output, Xiaomi is not exactly well equipped. On the other hand, the device has an analog video/audio input.
This makes it possible to connect old game consoles, VCRs or analog camcorders without adapters. Also on board there is an input for an antenna and Ethernet for a linear connection to the Internet. As for wireless connections, there is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The image quality on this TV is very good relative to its price. Xiaomi TV reproduces images with natural colors and high depth of field. The voice assistant works flawlessly.
However, the operating system has its drawbacks, which were discussed above. If the buyer already has a 4K media player, then there will be no problem with additional costs. Mediocre sound and two HDMI connectors can also be attributed to the minuses. However, the low price makes up for these shortcomings.
